Arrests Continue at White House Protest Against Obama's Abortion Mandate

Youthful protesters at the White House Oct. 1. Dozens were arrested.

The ActsFive29 coalition of Christian groups continued its peaceful dissent against the Obama administration's HHS abortion mandate with prayers in front of the White House Monday and Tuesday. As of Tuesday afternoon, nearly 70 protesters had been arrested and jailed for refusing the interrupt their prayers when ordered to leave the area by police.

The coalition includes Priests for Life, Operation Rescue, and Stand Up for Religious Freedom, which is leading demonstrations in hundreds of U.S. cities Oct. 20.
