Obama Bends to Wide Criticism: Reinstates Reference to God in Democratic Party Platform

In addition to re-inserting God into the party's platform, Obama also ordered the platform committee to  reinstate language into the platform that recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The changes came after sharp criticism from GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and American Jewish organizations.

But wait, there's more! When the platform change ordered by Obama was brought to the floor, the delegates (in what sounded like a clear majority) began booing God and Jerusalem.
