October 20: Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rallies Across the Nation
Mark your calendars now to join the next round of nationally coordinated rallies for religious freedom at noon on October 20, just 17 days before the 2012 presidential election.
Hundreds of thousands come out to Stand Up for Religious Freedom in hundreds of cititues across the United States.
This peaceful, nationwide event event, the third of its kind, will protest the HHS Mandate and other attacks on religious freedom coming from the federal government, especially during this critical election year.
The first two Stand Up Rallies were held on March 23 and June 8.
Over 300 rallies were held in cities and towns across the country, with attendance topping 125,000. As of today, 105 citizen activists in 105 cities have scheduled rallies for noon on October 20.
Check out the Stand Up for Religious Freedom web site for nationwide rally information and locations, and to volunteer as a rally captain in a city near you.
What is at stake in the fight to defend our religious freedom? New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte explains in this video.
